Here's another great song that I would like to share to all of you for my Do-Re-Mi (Music Review). It took me a lot of time to look for this song. I heard this on the radio last year, but I wasn't able to hear what's the song title of it until I found it early this month, I desperately searched for this song. All I know about the song is a few part of its lyrics which is "my you..." then finally, I found it. What I love about this song is Troye Sivan's lovely voice and I wouldn't get tired of listening to it. That's why I was so desperate to look for this song because of his lovely voice and the tune of the song especially the beat. It's a very cool song that you would want to listen every night before you sleep. For me, it was like a lullaby and a song for me to relax and calm down after a very stressful day.

Yes, I'll do a music review this holiday because I heard this music earlier and I need to share how amazing this song is right now. :) Who wouldn't fell in love with this song and even to its music video? The first time that I heard this song 2 years ago, I clicked the replay button many times on Youtube even if I already downloaded the mp3 file and music video of it. Justin Timberlake's lovely voice + the very sweet lyrics + amazing music video = a very very great music. To be honest, I have this habit where I really read the lyrics and understand it carefully before searching for the story behind the lyrics on how they compose it and what's their inspiration in composing it, and that's how I fell in love with some of the amazing songs because of the stories behind it.

Just to give you a short background about the song, Mirrors is the second single for JT's third studio album The 20/20 Experience in 2013. Justin Timberlake wrote and produced the song together with Timbaland, J-Roc and James Fauntleroy. It was inspired by the marriage of JT's grandparents. It went on to the Top of many single charts around the world and even got nominated for a Grammy Award. according to some article, JT explained that the single is a love song about person's other half.

Based on the lyrics, you can really see how the song title Mirrors was used as  a symbol for a relationship. And if you read and understand it, you can actually feel the love between those lyrics on how the man describes his other half and his love for her.  For me, this could be use as a wedding song since some says that Two people really become one when they get married that's why sometimes you can see your other half as your reflection, as your mirror. I would really use it tho. When it comes to the music video, it clearly portrayed the message or the story behind the lyrics. how the man sees his woman as his reflection all throughout their wonderful journey as couple as they looked back from it. This song never gets old for me because I can still feel the strong emotion on how JT sang it and the very sweet message from the lyrics together with that wonderful rhythm until now. That proves why it received a lot of nominations, awards and get on top of many hit charts until this year 2015. Mirrors is one of JT's wonderful songs in his third studio album. Aside from it, I also love "Not A Bad Thing" most probably with the same reason too on how I love Mirrors.

For me, I interpreted this song as a story of a guy who is secretly in love with a girl. Well, we know this type of situation is not unusual since many people not only guys but also girls who experience this kind of situation. That's why many people can relate to this music. If we put it in a perspective of a guy, It is all about a him, who's secretly in love with a girl but can't confess it. As you can see, from the second part of the first verse, it's like the girl is not aware of the things that the guy wishes for the girl. But even though he can't confess his real feelings, as what was said in the chorus part, he can't live without her, and that's how he loves her.

I really love this song especially the chorus part. Even though I'm not in love, I still love to sing it. It's because of its romantic rhythm or tune and Champ's sweet and cool voice that makes the song really great. You can actually feel the emotion of the song from how he sang it. I really love Champ's voice in all of their songs. Forever Hale Fan here. That's why i never get tired of listening to their songs even The Day You Said Goodnight. Those songs really brings me back to my high school days. Hahaha :) Those were my jam. Well, for now.
