Here's another great song that I would like to share to all of you for my Do-Re-Mi (Music Review). It took me a lot of time to look for this song. I heard this on the radio last year, but I wasn't able to hear what's the song title of it until I found it early this month, I desperately searched for this song. All I know about the song is a few part of its lyrics which is "my you..." then finally, I found it. What I love about this song is Troye Sivan's lovely voice and I wouldn't get tired of listening to it. That's why I was so desperate to look for this song because of his lovely voice and the tune of the song especially the beat. It's a very cool song that you would want to listen every night before you sleep. For me, it was like a lullaby and a song for me to relax and calm down after a very stressful day.

Ever since my brother let me watch We Got Married, I became interested with it especially it’s all about weddings or marriage. I don’t know why, but to be honest, I really love weddings or the idea about marriage life (but I still don’t want to get married yet). I’m fond of watching wedding videos, wedding proposals and pre-nup videos some of the Youtube Channels where I usually watch wedding videos are NicePrint Channel, Jason Magbanua and Bob Nicholas. But the very first Wedding show that I’m really fond of, is WGM.

We Got Married is a television series in Korea about virtual marriage between two couples. Usually the man and the woman who are being chose to undergo virtual marriage are famous Korean artists. My favorite edition of WGM is the Global Edition where Korean artists are being paired with other foreign artists. What I love about this edition is that, you can see how the two couples develop their relationship by overcoming communication barriers and culture differences. I really love this edition since you can really see how the guys (usually the Korean artists based from the first two editions) work hard to make their foreign wife happy and they can be able to talk to each other and be comfortable with each other despite of their cultural differences.

The first season of Global edition was about the wedding life of:

Hong-Gi (Korean) &Fujii Mina (Japanese) 

and Wu Ying Jie (Taiwanese) &TaecYeon (Korean) 

But all in all, I really love all the global edition couples. The show's tasks or challenges are really interesting since it can really help to develop the relationship of the couple as they live together or get together everyday. It was also the one that let the story on the show flow. Another thing is that, The production team are really good at choosing the perfect match. All of the couple have perfect resemblance. Well, To be honest, I also want some of the promising acts here in the Philippines could be part of the show. I really hope someday, someone will be part of it. But for now, I can't wait for the next season.

After a few years of being out of the spotlight, Somedaydream A.K.A. Rez Toledo is finally back on track in empowering the Filipino music with his electronic beats.

Rez really started November 2015 on a positive note as he announced on his Facebook account that he will bring back Somedaydream this year with his next record “Holographic” followed by a post on Somedaydream’s Facebook page to spread the great news to his devoted fans, the Dreamers out there who have been waiting for so long for his comeback.

Rez Toledo was known as the OPM’s breakout artist as he brought up a fresh sound, which is the “Electropop/synthpop music” to OPM. It started from the released of his hit single “Hey Daydreamer”. This song was written around his concept of daydreaming a girl and then he added with a very interesting electronic beats and catchy tunes. It was also a complete alliteration of his band name “Somedaydream”. Big thanks to the Digital Technology that helped musicians to create their songs like Rez who writes songs and records it all by himself with the help of his laptop and synthesizer.

After sharing “Hey Daydreamer” through Soundcloud, MySpace, and Facebook, it reached Hale’s front man Champ Lui Pio who became his mentor and manager as Champ was starting his own label, Mecca Music. In 2011, it was released first on radio stations that eventually caught the interest of a lot of listeners because of its’ fresh sound and became the most requested song. After a few months, it hit the top spots on the radio and on MYX music channel. Followed by his second single “Delivery Boys”, which indeed delivered Happiness, Joy and Love as it was a mixed of English and Filipino lyrics, reached the top spots of local hit charts. Later, he released his self-titled debut album that became #7 on Astroplus’ Overall Album Charts.

As Somedaydream’s songs soared high on top of the hit charts, multiple radio, TV shows and event guestings, mall shows, launching, collaborations & gigs were on the line up as he was enjoying the spotlight. Some of his recognition and achievements were he was named as “Breakthrough Artist for 2011” at Yahoo OMG Awards and was also selected as one of the Yahoo Philippines Icons for 2011. He was nominated to six categories on Myx Music Awards 2012 and won as the Favorite Myx Celebrity VJ. He also receive an award from Awit Award 2012 for “Hey Daydreamer” as the Most Downloaded Song and for the Most Downloaded Artist.
