2015 has been a very wonderful year for me. I had lots of new experiences, new friends, and new learnings. I can consider this year as the greatest year that I ever had because it shaped me to become a better person. For now, I want to look back to the best experiences that I had from January to December 2015.

We had an opportunity to meet and have a talk about Acting with Direk Joey Nombres  in our Performing Arts Class.

I had my first ever Color Run :)

We also had an opportunity to meet Mr. Lance Raymundo in our Performing Arts Class.

I also went to De La Salle University in Manila for the First DLSU Communication Conference 40x40.

Our COM 2 in 1 Theater Play. I was the stage manager for New Yorker in Tondo and also the Old Kikay or Lola Francesca.

Basically, our theater play was a fund-raising project for our dear friend's father, Tito John Jacob, for his medical needs.

Blogging 101 Seminar for our Public Speaking Class. I'm one of the speakers for this seminar. And I talked about some of my blogging experiences. :)

This is our production team for TV Prod and we produced a game show entitled "That's My Gayboy" where our contestants were Lesbians or Tomboys & Gays. I hosted this game show together with Bryan Baybay.

My most memorable gala before our summer vacation. This was when we played BOBO Game all throughout the gala and road trip. That's why we called our barkada as TeamBOBO. <3

My Brother graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing and Advertising Management.

About a week ago, my friend invited me to join their group's event for Christmas. He said they will go to an orphanage and hold a Christmas party for the children together with gift giving. I was indecisive during that time because I already expect that I'll be home in Laguna as soon as my class ended and we'll have a lot of school stuffs to do but I really want to go there and be part of the event because since then, I really want to make other people happy especially those in need. I've been a volunteer to charity events when I was in high school. I'm one of the member of the Social Science Club. and from the very very start, when I was young, my mom taught us to help other people by giving away some clothes and toys that we don't need anymore and even feed them. That's why it's been part of my life and responsibility to help others with what I can give to them.

Last friday (December 18, 2015), I went to Alabang with two of my best friends to watch A Second Chance. The show ended at 8:00PM and I decided to go home to Laguna even though it's already late and my Dad will kill me because I really want to go home. I rode a bus in South Station and suddenly, my head is aching. I decided to close my eyes and I usually listen to some music in my phone. I always daydream whenever I'm traveling alone, while listening to my jam and it was perfect since it's raining and the person beside me was already asleep (well, almost every passengers were sleeping except me) and when I closed my eyes (not to sleep), I started to daydream and this story came in to my mind.

I imagine myself sleeping while I'm in the bus going to Laguna and there's this one good-looking guy who's sitting beside me. He's wide awake. Brown eyes, brown hair, physically fit, and pale skin. I was so sleepy during that time that's why I decided to close my eyes and ignore this guy beside me. When I was deeply sleeping, I accidentally lean on his shoulders but he didn't mind instead he smiled while staring at me. He even tried to fix my position so that I could sleep well while leaning on him. He eventually took a picture of me while sleeping and send it to his younger sister with a caption "I'm with a very pretty girl". He kept on smiling while watching me sleeping. When the bus conductor yelled "Alaminos na, yun mga Alaminos dyan", I suddenly woke up and furiously stood up to go off the bus. I didn't bother looking back on my seat if I left something or what because I'm too tired and I really want to sleep already. That's why after I went off the bus, I just put my bags on the floor and fall myself freely on my bed.

Morning after, someone gave a friend request on my Facebook account with a message. He said, he got my school ID. At first, I didn't believe him because I'm sure I have my ID with me. But when I checked on my bag, oh well yeah, I lost it. It's nothing for me, because I could get a new school ID instead of talking to some stranger. But then he said, "I think you need your ID because there's a ticket inside it for a film screening". And I was like OMG. It's our requirement to one of my subjects. I need to get that ticket or else. that's why I decided to accept his friend request to talk to him and ask where could I get my ticket.

Me: What? Really?
Jason: Yeah, you fell asleep then leaned on my shoulder.
Me: OMG. I'm sorry. I was so exhausted yesterday. Btw, how did you get my ID?
Jason: It fell from your bag after you stood up.
Me: Oh, thank God you're a nice person who will bring back my ID.
Jason: Well yeah, you're lucky.
Me: So, how can I get my ID back?
Jason: hmm. if you want, we can go out and grab some coffee.
Me: tbh, I don't go out with strangers.
Jason: don't worry, I won't hurt you. I'm not a murderer. You can bring your family if you want to.
Me: Really?
Jason: Yeah, I don't have any bad intentions with you. I just want to help.
Me: Oh well, I badly need that ticket. You can keep my ID if you want to, I just need the ticket.
Jason: Ms. Kriz, if you really want to get this ticket, let's just go out and grab a coffee. maybe we could be friends afterwards.
Me: Hmm. Okay fine. for the sake of my ticket.
Jason: That's great. So, when are you free this week?
Me: Thursday.
Jason: That's great. Should I pick you up? Is it okay with you?
Me: Is it okay with you? I'm staying in Dasmarinas.
Jason: It's okay. I'll pick you up at 12nn. Lunch date. Haha.
Me: Ohhkay.  Where are you from?
Jason: Taft. I saw that you're studying in La Salle Dasma?
Me: Yes I am,
Jason: Hello fellow lasallian!
Me: hello! Hahaha. It was nice meeting you.
Jason: You too. So, thursday, 12nn? is it a yes?
Me: Okay fine.
Jason: Yeah, don't worry. if you're quite scared to come with me, you could bring your pepper spray with you.
Me: I will tho, hahahaha.
Jason: I'm ready. but you won't use it either. I'm not what you think I am.
Me: Okay, sorry.
Jason: well, can I ask for your number, so that I could catch up with you for thursday?
Me: Okay. Here ************.

So, I'll cut my daydream story first since it is quite long because I traveled for 3 hours so m daydream was too long also. It's quite unreal since, the guy named Jason was just my ideal guy. And I don't know if he exist (i hope so). It's not bad to daydream tho. It's a good thing to do when you want to walk away and release stress by imagining happy moments and good thoughts. You should try it sometime.

Here in the Philippines, the catholic church have this annual tradition. 15-23rd day (evening masses) and 16-24th day (morning masses) of December which we call "Simbang Gabi". I'm always active to complete the 9 days of Simbang Gabi not just because of what they say that if you complete the Simbang Gabi, your christmas wish will come true. For me, it's about preparing ourselves to the coming of our savior, Jesus Christ. Since, Christmas is all about the birth of Jesus Christ. I always love to hear the Gospel Reading and Homily every Simbang Gabi since all of it have great lessons.

I really love music guys, that's why maybe most of my post will be my Do-Re-Mis on Music. Now, I would like to make a review on one of my favorite OPM band, Hale. Hale is an alternative rock band here in the Philippines with Champ Lui Pio as it's frontman.

I've been their fan since they released the song "Kung Wala Ka" because it is a very hugot song for me. My Brother kept on playing it on my guitar and I was the one singing it. For me, this song never gets old, that's why I keep on listening to it until now. They were gone for a few years and came back recently with new great songs.

"Feel The Rain" - PartyZone's Hydro Manila Music Festival After Movie

Here's my first ever Do-Re-Mi about a movie. So, I actually passed this review already to my professor but I want to share it to you guys. It's my review for the movie, Love Me If You Dare. It is a French film in 2003 by Yann Samuell. We watched this movie in our Media Writing Class. It is about two childhood friends, Julien and Sophie who dares each other continuously  with different pranks that lasted until they grew up.

This romantic-comedy film was unique. Its’ screenplay was well written because it was so unusual and weird unlike the typical romantic or love stories but that made the film more interesting to watch. It somehow mirrored some situations that really happen in reality. Like when they were young, developing friendships, kids experiencing bullying, conflict with their parents, and how hard they are to handle and playful. Even the part where they grew up, explore their life as a teenager, a college student under pressure, as a working person, and experience having a relationship.  It also have some little touch of a typical concept of  romantic films from how Sophie had an unrequited love with Julien and how they ended up together even though they’re already married because they realized they should be together and make their last promise or dare come true that they will never leave each other. The thing that made this film very unusual and interesting was how their lives were being controlled and affected by the dares that they made every time. People don’t really do weird dares like they did. We usually do some easy dares that don’t reach to the point where it could affect our personal lives. Their relationship wasn’t labeled either in the movie it is just up to the audience to know their relationship based on how they act and as they grew old.

When it comes to the films’ overall settings, mood and designs, it was great indeed. It has a great influence to the story. It helped me to organize my thoughts in knowing their current state and the personality of the characters. It guided me to the flow of the story. I also love those what I called segue-scenes, which involves some animations or props. Some of those scenes were Young Julien and Sophie were Adam and Eve & Young Julien was flying. All of those scenes adds up to the playful mood of the movie. The most important thing that really made this film continue to flow was the music box. Who would have an idea to use a music box to make dares, take it seriously and make it change their lives? Well, I thought that a merry-go-round music box in this film symbolizes the relationship of Julien and Sophie. They go around and around, where they will never stop it and continue to enjoy the ride. Another interesting part of the film was how they showed two endings of Julien and Sophie’s Crazy but an endless love which they use the future Julien and Sophie still doing the dares and still in love with each other aside from showing some flashbacks in the end.

Hi guys. :) Well, if you read my previous blog post, this post is connected with that one. If you read my first ever Stor-eas, I hope you learned something from it. We might have different interpretations on the story. But now, I would like to share to you my own learnings from that story even though I wrote it.

I could relate the whole jogging experience of Kyla to our journey in our lives especially in the moment when we're afraid of standing or walking alone that's why we always find companions. But we never thought that we can actually see the beauty and the wonderful meaning of our lives if we're determine to experience the whole journey all alone without any companion because we meet some people who could add more meaning in our lives, but we will only see the true meaning of it if we only try to walk and see the world all by ourselves. Sometimes we need to face our fears especially the fear of being independent or live alone. As time goes by, we grow old and change. There are some people who will leave us, will hurt us, will change the way they treat you or to sum it up, people change. That's why we need to accept changes also especially the change that will happen to us along the journey. It's all about learning to be independent and be happy.

If I could give a title for the story, It would be: Walk Alone.

I prefer this title since it's all about Walking Alone. If we could see the deeper meaning of the title, it means being independent. Me, as a teenager, I'm eighteen and right now, my father gives me an opportunity to enjoy and live my life alone where I live alone in my dormitory, allocate my allowance that should be enough for 1 week. He even let me have my own credit card to start saving already. Those things are my starter-pack of being an independent woman. and I know, when it comes to relationship, as we grow old, we meet different people for some certain reasons. They can help us. But we must still learn to Walk Alone even though we know there are people who will help us.

Okay, I know I've been using a lot of acronyms lately but I found it interesting since many people tell or make some words shorter in texting, sending emails or posting. But for me, I use this to categorize what my blog posts are all about.

Now, I would like to introduce to you, Stor-eas: Story Ideas. (/Storyas/). Stor-eas is the title to categorize my blog posts about the story ideas that came in to my mind whenever, wherever. Many story ideas always came in to my mind but I don't blog about it or even write it that's why sometimes I feel bad whenever I can't remember those story ideas because they might be interesting. But now, I will post those ideas and even though they might not be that interesting, it could contribute to some or motivate others to share their own Stor-eas.

Well, maybe a lot of people experience this especially some employees or even students. (Just like me). I talked to some of my friends who are nocturnal also and they really hate it. I know it's a bit strange for me to say that there are good things about being nocturnal.  A lot of people hate it because it ruins your body clock and how you function during the day. Well, I'm nocturnal. But I see this thing as a positive one since whenever I can't sleep, I think a lot. Many ideas come to my mind and eventually I get motivated to do things that I must do. Honestly, I'm more active  and I can work well when I'm up late in the evening or dawn. So now, I would like to share to you on how I manage myself since I'm nocturnal.

Before I start with the good things about it, and what are the things I do that are very helpful for me, I would like to start on pointing out the bad things or effects that I encountered and you might also encounter it,

• Pimples - We love our faces so much where sometimes you hate when some zits come out on it. Sadly, when you can't sleep early, and you stay up too late, your face becomes oily and a lot of dirt will eventually come in to your pores and that's how pimples come out.
• Eyebags - We will look like pandas. But Pandas are cute don't worry. But sometimes, it makes us look old and stressed.
• Dizziness
• Get Fat/Thin - sometimes, when you stay up late, you're craving to eat some snacks (but honestly, it's a meal not a snack) but some people get thinner when they don't have enough sleep.
• You can't focus on your activities for the day - I sometimes experience this especially I'm a student and we need to be active in class, sometimes I get sleepy but I really try not to fall asleep during class.
• DURING THE DAY: More time to sleep than studying or doing your MUST-DO activities - Since you didn't sleep well, you always find time to sleep again and this will lessen your time on doing your school works etc.
• Ruined body-clock - if you get used to sleep late, you will eventually turn into a bad habit and it may cause a bad effect on your lifestyle.
